Hey all! The wonderful printer sent ahead a copy of the book so I could check it out as the rest are printed! It looks fantastic--all the pages are in the right order and the color looks bright and retina melting! So excited for you guys to have your copies!

So! The shipment will arrive to me within 2-3 weeks depending on scheduling with the shipping company. Then I'm shipping them out to you! 

Surveys from Backerkit will be appearing shortly. The will collect your address and allow you to add anything else you might have missed from the campaign. It's all pretty straight forward. Keep your eyes out of those!

Hey all! Just a quick update about the God Hates Astronauts hardcover. The book is done and has been at the printers for a couple of weeks (which is incredibly exciting AND terrifying (hope the pages are all in the right order!!!)). The typical turnaround time is 6-8 weeks and I will have a firmer date on delivery as we get closer to it being completed. It's crazy to think that somewhere giant machines are running off 3000 copies of this book! AH!!!!

Thanks again to everyone who supported the book! I'm arranging with BackerKit now to send out your surveys soon and I'm starting work on your various stretch goal bonuses! FUN!

Hey all! Just a quick update to let you know what's happening in GHA world! The book is almost done! Hoping final edits and book design elements will be all wrapped up next week! OH YEAH!

Then it's off to the printers which will take six weeks to print and deliver to me in Chicago. During that time, I'll be working on your stretch goals and sending out surveys. Once the books arrive in Chicago, they are heading straight to your beautiful faces!

I'm not going to post any new images here because I've already spoiled enough, but here is the end page design that I'm quite fond of. Makes a great phone wallpaper FYI! You guys will also get the pdf as soon as it's finished--so it'll be up to y'all if you want to wait and read the physical thing first.

AND! For those who dig the music, Murder By Death (who made the GHA theme song) has a Kickstarter going right now and I made the poster for it! Here's the link to all that. Highly recommended! They're awesome!

HUZZAH! THE KICKSTARTER IS OVER AND SUCCESSFUL AND IT'S AWESOME AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU, YOU ALL, AND Y'ALL!

Whoa, guys! Way to be amazing and finish strong, gang! This is incredibly exciting! GOD HATES ASTRONAUTS IS A GO! So what next? Let me tell yah…

I've decided to add a couple more pages of prison antics because they are just too fun to draw! Working on those now. Addison Duke is about 75 percent of the way through coloring the book and it's about 90 percent lettered by Chris Crank. Next week I'll be working on the book's design and trying to get the whole thing looking snappy and wonderful. 

Kickstarter should be processing your payments now. I'm not sure what happens if your payment doesn't work, so if you have questions please direct them to Kickstarter directly. It's supposed to take up to two weeks before the money gets deposited to my account. 

Once the book is wrapped up and proofed and scrutinized and OCDed by myself, it's off to the printers! The printing and shipping the crates of books takes about six weeks. Once they arrive in Chicago at Harebrained Designs (who will be doing the fulfillment) I will head over there and start sketching and signing in the appropriate books--not to mention destroying all the special editions for you special people!

Your survey's will go out closer to the delivery time of the printed books, so hope to see those in June. On the survey you will put in your shipping info and there will be a chance to add extras that you might've wanted but there wasn't a level for.

In the mean time, I'll be updating you about finishing and sending you PDF stretch goals. There's a list at the bottom of what you guys are gonna get. So much value!

GUYS. I'M JUST SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS! Thank you, thank you, thank you! It's been an incredible experience so far and I know you are going to love this dang book! It's so good!
